Fads Don’t Work – But I Do!
As well as this blog and all my other work, I am available to hire or partner with in my capacity as a registered and fully qualified dietician.
And as unexpected as this may sound, I spend most of my working life trying to stop people from going “on a diet”.
Diets are not going to help you long term unless you change your life completely. That’s a fact.
A diet may be a great thing as a short term fix. If all you want to do is lose a few pounds before your vacation to get into a smaller bikini, then that is fine. As long as you are totally happy about putting it all back on again by the time you come home!
However, it still isn’t something that I would advise. Because the diet – lose weight- binge – put it back on again cycle is one which ultimately a negative one for your body.
If you abuse your body like that for so long, it can be very difficult to get it out of that state. Weight loss becomes harder to maintain and you will struggle.
This doesn’t mean that all is lost.
By partnering with me, or hiring me as your personal dietitian we can work on how to get you back to full fitness – and happiness – without it seeming like hell to get there.
THE NO HUNGER ‘DIET’ IS HERE!
I firmly believe that no diet should cause severe distress or hunger to a client.
Of course, there has to be an element of control and limitation, but if the right diet plan is implemented, at the correct pace, it should prove a far easier transition than you might be expecting.
This is not to say that there will not be obstacles to overcome, in your quest for better health, but that these can be tackled head on.
I will create a nutritious and delicious health plan, based on your specific and individual needs.
Together, we will discuss and if necessary discover your health conditions and any food intolerances you may have.
